13th December 2013. Google has been spending money.
Over a decade ago, I was viewed as crazy for even pondering the very concept of ‘fussing over ‘ the feelings of robots! I had brought up the idea of how humanity might deal with coping with machines becoming sentient, (Aware of their own sense of being), and, a decade ago, the most perfect embodiment of a robot was Honda’s ASIMO humanoid robot.
I had no idea how artificial intelligence might present itself to humanity. I suppose I thought that any robot might be a refined, (cute), version of Asimo. (A profound Humanoid robot).
Asimo was, (and is), pretty clever but …
Google has been spending money

We can’t even comprehend what Google has been doing …

DARK BLUE LABS and VISION FACTORY, (UK companies) have just joined Googles DEEP MIND project.
Artificial intelligence, machine intelligence?
And while Google has been doing the research …
God. It just appeared … overnight … on our mobile phones!
Google Now. Cortana. Siri.
Artificial intelligence suddenly came … seemingly overnight!
I never saw that coming.
Yet … while we are all amazed with the ‘machine intelligence’ our phones offer us … Google is creating … what?
I think Google is creating an artificial intelligence, a machine intelligence based upon … the complete internet.
In other words … an intelligence that feeds on or works from … a complete data feed of … EVERYTHING that exists online.
A construct that absorbs or interfaces with EVERYTHING its human master has ever consumed as knowledge or information … from … the beginning of the written word?
