when I was pursuing the Gravity Venture, manifesting, creating, developing my now patented and manufactured technology, the achievement of ‘doing the impossible’ made the impossible just evaporate, becoming a fuel of its own along the way. I invented several mantras purely for my own circumstances and psyche with one being, “Don’t believe in statistics … unless it suits!” meaning; ignore the very negativity that grim statistics exhibit UNLESS OR UNTIL you (positively) defy them in which case boastfully scream such statistics to the world … as you use such statistics as a backdrop, (salt on the tongue) to express or taste and savour your heroic progress!”
I’ve different embodiments of this simple but profound philosophical tool but haven’t yet decided which one I like best. Maybe I should include both!
While developing my patented technology for the Gravity Venture, the act of ‘doing the impossible’ caused the word itself to evaporate, turning the challenge into its own fuel. During that time, I lived by a personal mantra: ‘Don’t believe in statistics… unless they suit you.’ It meant ignoring the gravity of negative data until the moment I defied it. Only then would I shout those same statistics to the world—using them as the salt on the tongue to better savor the taste of heroic progress.

In the heat of manifesting the Gravity Venture, the achievement of the impossible didn’t just happen—it became a self-sustaining fuel. I navigated that psyche with a mantra: ‘Don’t believe in statistics… unless it suits.’ I chose to ignore the negativity of grim data until I had successfully overturned it. At that point, the statistics were no longer a threat; they were the perfect backdrop—the salt on the tongue—to help me truly taste the scale of my progress.

It is a wall of foreboding statistics, (often showing boundaries, limits, scary percentages), but I use my own philosophy and platitudes to fight such intimidating numbers. I say, “Don’t believe in statistics – unless it suits!” which means, “Don’t take any notice of negative statistics but, when you overcome such grim numbers, quote them loud and large to show the world how your own effort, determination and vision is always more powerful and meaningful than any statistics; statistics that you’ve now turned into mere outdated props to showcase your own success.
