… The Same Coin
In viewing this site, think of Beach and Chris as two sides of the same coin.
Chris being real world flesh and blood; precious, sensitive, moral, complex, irresponsible, passionate, a tad eccentric and a dreamer whereas Beach is ethereal, text or multi-media based, literal, contrived, measured, intellectual, erudite, well read, informed, targeted and composed.
In the former description, Chris is flawed, as we all are, simply because he is human whereas Beach is less so, being able to deliver text based online prose and comment via pre-prepared, pre-crafted words, sentences, paragraphs, photos and multi-media that obviously benefits from previewing, editing, ammending and polishing prior to being posted … just like you do when you add your own input to Facebook, Twitter or some other virtual social network.
So … don’t be phased by the fact that Beach has been Chris’s voice online for such a long time because, whether you are aware of it or not, you, yourself, probably reveal a slightly different side of yourself when you choose to use your own Avatar or Screenname online. The only probable difference is I’ve used my Avatar to find myself rather than use it to escape via online interaction and have been doing so for over 20 years!
