I promise you, unless you were dumb or needy, fame or ‘appearing on the telly’ or being recognised in a supermarket is not something anyone should aspire or wish for as a life choice and, although I was content to earn the largest headlines or the most column inches or attention of any newspaper, magazine or media concern I chose to gift an interview with, it took me mere weeks of rubbing shoulders with celebrities and household names to understand just how vacuous and superficial celebrity culture actually was and is.
That said, I want to use this particular space to share just a few anecdotes and memories spanning the years I spent in such an environment even if only to bring a smile to your face.
