Well. It is a true story and I was the man in the black suit; immediately I drove the dumper truck up the planks and onto the bed of the trailer itself, the oil drums and planks gave way and collapsed and only then did I realise how foolish and lucky I had been. I’d been a site agent and finishing foreman asked to come back to the job, after being laid off, to help with a project at The Maltings, Chard, where Stansell’s were in a bind trying to get everything finished for a final handover and clear up of the site. (I’d just secured new employment with West Dorset District Council as a Work’s Inspector but went back to Stansell’s as a favour to them, (despite them having previously laid me off due to a reccesion), and, after working a week, I never even billed them for my time! I’ve got a 3d rendered image, )side on) of the dumper truck, pickup, planks and olil drums.
